Museums for All!

Greenbelt Museum Staff

The Greenbelt Museum is also participating in Museums for All, which is an ongoing program offering free admission to families receiving food assistance through the SNAP program. Museums for All visitors just need to show their EBT card and photo ID for admission to our Historic House at 10B Crescent.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer these two options,” said Greenbelt Museum Director Megan Searing Young. “We’re working hard to remove barriers of any kind and to be as inclusive as possible as we welcome visitors to our site.” The Greenbelt Museum felt that it is in the spirit of Greenbelt—one of community and cooperation—that all families should have an opportunity to visit the Historic House.

Community Pledge

The strength of Greenbelt is diverse people living together in a spirit of cooperation. We celebrate all people. By sharing together all are enriched. We strive to be a respectful, welcoming community that is open, accessible, safe and fair.

Preserving and sharing the New Deal history of an experimental planned community built by FDR in suburban Maryland in 1937 and still thriving today.
