MPT Screening of Ken Burns’ The Roosevelts SOLD OUT

therooseveltsThe MPT Screening of Ken Burns’ The Roosevelts:  An Intimate History will take place this Saturday, September 6, from 1-3pm at the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Click here for directions.  There was a huge response to this event and it is now completely sold out as the event space is at capacity.

MUSEUM HOUSE OPEN  12-1pm and 3-4pm before and after the screening.

If you are planning to attend the event, be sure to come by the Greenbelt Museum’s historic house at 10B Crescent just across the street from the Community Center for a quick tour.  It has been restored to its 1937 appearance, and has been restored and furnished with objects from the period of 1936-1952.

Audience members are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to donate to Teddy Bears for Kids. A collection box will be located onsite. Donations will be distributed to Greenbelt-area kids in need by Prince George’s County Department of Social Services.

Self-guided walking tour maps of the historic community are available here and will be available onsite on 9/6.
