The MPT Screening of Ken Burns’ The Roosevelts: An Intimate History will take place this Saturday, September 6, from 1-3pm at the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. If you are planning to attend the event, be sure to come by the Greenbelt Museum’s historic house at 10B Crescent just across the street from the Community Center for a quick tour. It has been restored to its 1937 appearance, and has been restored and furnished with objects from the period of 1936-1952.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to donate to Teddy Bears for Kids. A collection box will be located onsite. Donations will be distributed to Greenbelt-area kids in need by Prince George’s County Department of Social Services.
