Thanks so much to everyone who came out to participate in the Museum’s first ever Roosevelt Ride! Nearly fifty people enoyed a leisurely ride through historic Greenbelt, picnicking on the lawn, and tours of the Museum’s historic house. There were beautiful vintage bikes, some amazing vintage outfits, and super delicious Tea Pops. Many thanks to our sponsors Maryland Milestones, Tea Pops and the Greenbelt Farmer’s Market. Special thanks also to Proteus Bicycles for bringing their “penny farthing” high wheeled bike – talk about vintage! We have posters from the event ($10) for sale in the Museum gift shop, as well as Eleanor and Franklin fans ($1) so come by Sundays from 1-5pm to pick them up. And we’re already talking about ways to improve the event for next year – so stay tuned for details!
